    fave books

All good authors read... a lot. I don't know if I'm a good author but I do read a lot.

Different stuff. I love John Marsden's stuff and Markus Zusak and Andy Griffiths and Tim Winton and Phillip Gwynne and Richard Flanagan and James Moloney and Alan Duff and John Larkin and Paul Jennings and Gary Paulsen. I loved Hemingway's Old Man and The Sea but I have a sneaking suspicion he was a bit of a redneck. I like Edward Debono and Hermann Hesse, Thoreau and even read Bryce Courtenay but I skip the details of furniture. I like Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, Maureen McCarthy, Anthony Eaton, Melina Marchetta, Josie Montano, Jaclyn Moriarty, Sonya Hartnett, J.A Mawter's 'So' books, Pat Flynn, Jackie French, Margaret Clarke and Elizabeth Honey.

My favorite books of all time are Henry David Thoreau's 'Walden', Tim Winton's 'The Turning' and Clive Hamilton's 'Affluenza'.
